From Wedding Bells to Baby Bump: Capturing Brisa & Edgar's Growing Love Story

They say a wedding is just the beginning, and for Brisa and Edgar, that couldn't be more true! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing their beautiful wedding last year on September 9, 2023. It was a day filled with gorgeous flowers, a stunning dress, and infectious energy from their families who brought the party to the reception.

Fast forward a few months, and we reconnected about capturing some photos of them with their furry companions. We knew waiting for spring or summer would allow us to create gorgeous outdoor portraits, basking in the warm sunshine.

Spring arrived, and when we touched base again, Brisa and Edgar had even more exciting news – they were expecting their first child! It was truly special to reconnect with this sweet couple and document their journey as they transition from newlyweds to parents-to-be.

Our session included their adorable dog, Snickers, a ball of energy who kept us all on our toes, and Frijolito ("Little Bean"), their sweet grey tabby. Both pets were total stars, soaking up the attention and exploring the beautiful outdoor setting.

As the session wrapped up, I wanted to create a moment of quiet intimacy for Brisa and Edgar. Anyone who's worked with me on their wedding day knows I believe in the importance of pausing to cherish the bond and memories made with loved ones, whether it's at the altar or during a big life milestone.

I asked them to share some special words with each other, a quiet exchange as they prepare for the final stretch of pregnancy and embark on their parenthood adventure. The tenderness in their eyes and the pure love radiating between them was truly heartwarming.

I'm absolutely smitten with how these photos turned out, and I can't wait to see Brisa and Edgar's family grow. Congratulations again, you two!
